This work was inspired by all the late nights in NYC that C. Van A’ger spent painting trains as a young man, he utilizes dark and ominous colors to highlight the danger. His goal was to use the varying degrees of black to temper a mood of shadows and mystery, while still using graffiti lettering to show his mastery of the discipline.
